Winter Hackfest Postmortem

Last night/this morning we had our Winter Hackfest. It was a pretty good turn out, at the peak we had about 16 people. For most of the night there was about six people once the crowd dropped off. We had two sheets of Columbini's Buffalo Mild pizza and a dozen bottles of soda which was almost gone.

The dedicated folks were at the Hackfest from 6:00pm to 7:30 am which is pretty good! Lots of Caffeine helps the hackers keep hacking at those early ours in the morning.

There was a group working on Rise Above the Crowd, a system being developed by some folks in the journalism department to allow guests to interact digitally at our next Imagine Fest. Remy and Nate were working on Civx which is always exciting while I was working on an inventory system to run on the Web2Py framework.

Lots of food, music, and hacking; A very successful hackfest!
